‘Let’s Go We’re Dreaming’ I began last year. I have been dipping in and out of it ever since. It was created with paper fragments and an acrylic sky – a lesson in patience lolAs it slowly took shape, I found myself imagining the stories of its make-believe residents. That has become one of my favourite parts of the process – the creation of make-believe lives in make-believe worlds. It is also what I love most about collage art…how it engages the senses and imagination, both for the artist and viewer. It brings me back to childhood, to play.
