In its creation, I layered fragments of paper together to create texture, shaping them according to colour to build a varied landscape of hills, plains, rocks, sand and water. The fence was made with dried reeds. To blend the fragments together, I used acrylic marker and yarn. I also used acrylic marker to create the flowers.

The Lake at Eventide was shortlisted for the 2025 Homiens Art Prize.
