Background

Born in Ireland, Éabha Róis began her career in New York city, where she worked in print media and advertising.

Her poetry, short stories and cut ups have been published in literary journals and anthologies, and she has collaborated on spoken word albums and short films.

As a life story facilitator and mental health practitioner, Róis developed and delivered ‘healing through creativity’ programmes to individuals and groups in hospitals and community settings.

Since returning to her roots in County Waterford, Eabha Rois has been working from her studio in the Suir Valley countryside, where she also facilitates ‘art on the farm’ programmes for adults and children.
